Initial Consult / Educational Session

1. Call us at 215-663-6422. We will obtain your insurance information and check your benefits.
2. Download a registration packet. Feel free to call us at the number above if you need help completing the packet.

Our office will promptly schedule your initial one-on-one consultation with your surgeon once we receive your completed information and have confirmed your insurance benefits.

This consultation lasts about two hours. During this time your surgeon will discuss details about surgery, its benefits, and any potential complications. All your questions will be answered.

Your spouse, significant other, friends or family are strongly encouraged to attend. So that you and your surgeon can focus solely on your questions, we ask that small children be left at home during this consultation.

What happens next?

You will then be scheduled to:

1. See the psychologist, nutritionist and exercise specialist.
2. Obtain all your labs and studies.
3. See other specialists, if needed.
